| Diane Perruzzi lives in Sacramento with her husband Kevin.
At the age of 49, after a "slight diversion" called "life",
which included the birth of three children, she quit her regular
job to begin a new adventure at Art Center College of Design
in Pasadena. Diane has a small freelance business in Sacramento
which includes doing murals for public and private spaces and
posters for the California Head Start Association. |

Her true appreciation of children's book art began when
her children were small with the introduction of books by
Maurice Sendak, Margaret Wise Brown and others. Her inspirations
include William Joyce, Chris Van Allsburg, and Lisbeth Swerger
to name a few. Currently, Diane is working on several book
ideas that she has written and illustrated including "Silly
Hats", "Dumble Bumble" and "Lulubell". She has been a member
