Lauren Francis

Lauren Francis graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with a degree
in illustration, concentrating on Children's Illustration and Fantasy
Illustration.
After managing various educational toys stores and books stores, she
went to work for one of the top ten software companies. By day she's a
web/graphic designer, by night an aspiring children's book writer/illustrator
and fantasy artist with interests in creating 3-D models, animation, comic
books, character design and figurative sculpture in addition to digital
and traditional illustration and web design/graphics.
Lauren currently lives in Northern California with her husband and two
cats in a house that's much too small for her collection of 1000 picture
books.
