| Felicia Hoshino was born in
San Francisco, California where she continues to live
with her husband and son. She earned a BFA in Illustration
at the California College of the Arts. Her prizewinning
illustrations can be seen in children's magazines such
as Cricket, Cicada and Ladybug,
as well as the children's books Surprise Moon
and Finding the Golden Ruler. Her illustrations
for the books Little Sap and Monsieur Rodin,
and A Place Where Sunflowers Grow were featured
in the Society of Illustrator's The Original Art, a juried
exhibition celebrating the art of children's book illustration.
Earlier this year Hoshino was delighted to illustrate
the Día de los Niños, Día de los Libros
poster. Most recently she contributed an illustration
for the anthology, On My Block, published
by Children's Book Press. |
