Felicia Hoshino

| Felicia Hoshino was born in
San Francisco, California where she continues to live
with her husband and son. She earned a BFA in Illustration
at the California College of the Arts. Her prizewinning
illustrations can be seen in children's magazines such
as Cricket, Cicada and Ladybug, as well as the children's
books Surprise Moon and Finding the Golden Ruler. Her
illustrations for the books Little Sap and Monsieur Rodin,
and A Place Where Sunflowers Grow were featured in the
Society of Illustrator's The Original Art, a juried exhibition
celebrating the art of children's book illustration. Earlier
this year Hoshino was delighted to illustrate the Día
de los Niños, Día de los Libros poster. Most recently
she contributed an illustration for the anthology, On
My Block, published by Children's Book Press. |
