Our planet and it’s inhabitants have amazing stories to tell. I have always
been fascinated by animals and how they live and what they do and who
they are. And, I am deeply inspired to share their stories with others.
My career path has taken me from biology to scientific illustration to
graphic design. I have found that I enjoy being a ‘liason’ between scientists
and the public. I would like to give children and parents the opportunity
to fathom the uniqueness that exists in the natural world. The most wonderful
and inspiring way I can think of to give people the opportunity to explore
nature, is through picture books. I think it is extremely important that
we educate ourselves about the natural world. Once you fathom how amazing
it is, it is impossible to not want to protect it.
