Renate Lohmann was born and raised in Germany. She
has been painting since she was four years old. Although
a qualified architect trained to design and draw buildings,
she enjoys capturing the people who live in them even
more. She lives in a hundred year old house in Berkeley,
and can often be found in her studio, drawing and painting.
