As with many artist, drawing and
painting have been a part of Scott's life since
childhood. He grew up marveling the bizarre art
of Dr. Suess, Maurice Sendak and Shel Silverstein.
During college Scott discovered the wonderfully
macabre works of Edward Gorey. His 'twisted epiphany'
ultimately resulted in a BS in Graphic Design/Illustration.
He worked as a freelance production artist/designer
for several small companies while working fulltime
in the semiconductor industry. Scott attended
graduate school to further develop his illustration
skills and create original characters and storylines.
Scott says he truly loves the freedom
and unlimited possibilities that children's books
offer. Scott currently lives in San Francisco
with his wife. His recent work is primarily watercolor
with finishing touches in Photoshop.
