Critiquing with Literary Agents YWCA Berkeley |

Taught by Kendra Marcus and Minju Chang of Bookstop Literary Agency. Jackie Baldwin of The StorySmiths will moderate. Those of us who were fortunate enough to meet Kendra and Minju at our last intensive know how inspiring and knowledgeable they are. Here's an opportunity to sit down with them and talk about your work. They will critique three pages from your chapter book, middle grade or YA work. You'll need to submit your 3 pages by Sept. 1 by email to Jackie Baldwin (bubbul@vom.com), who will route them to the other members of your group. You'll read and make written comments on the pages, then discuss them in a small group (7 writers per agent) at the class. Enrollment is limited to 14 people. |
