| Welcome to the California North/Central Region of SCBWI. The SCBWI North Central region includes all the Northern California counties except those surrounding Monterey and San Francisco Bay. All SCBWI members are welcome to attend any conferences or activities sponsored by our region as well as all programs in this area. Subscribers may keep in touch with other writers and illustrators on our listserve for a nominal charge each year. Our Northern California website has a Speakers' List of authors and illustrators who give presentations. | ||||||||||||||||||

Services available to all writers We sponsor conferences and activities in the region. Many members exchange manuscripts for critiquing or join critique groups. Members of the Tri-Regions of Northern California who are published are eligible to have information listed about their books and school presentations on the Speakers' List pages of this website. The information on these pages is available to the community-at-large to assist schools and organizations in finding the perfect author or illustrator for their upcoming events. All our activities are organized by volunteers. If you have an idea for an additional service we could provide to support our published or not-yet published members, and would like to work on implementing it, please contact the Regional Advisor. |
